Garden rooms, studios & offices that may be used all year

Many individuals feel that working from home offers obvious advantages, such as saving time travelling to and from work, having more flexible working hours, and spending less money on transportation to and from work.

Working in such close proximity to chores, children, and family life might be distracting, which is why a garden room may be an excellent office space.

For businesses looking for extra space at a fraction of the expense of an addition, our huge garden structures are frequently utilised as marketing suites and sales offices.

Partition walls in larger buildings can be used to divide a space for use as a home office from the remainder of the building, which can be used as a home theatre, gym, or storage for your garden equipment.

Different types of Garden Rooms

We supply gorgeous, modern garden rooms throughout Scotland, as well as top quality, customised structures. Garden Rooms are available in four different types, and each installation is custom-designed by our architectural designers, giving us the most freedom in terms of producing a design that meets our clients’ goals and budget. Read on for more information and to see our Garden Room designs.

Simplistic Garden Room Design

The Simplistic Style Garden Room model series is our most popular, with low prices and great specs. The contemporary style Garden Rooms are for individuals who demand panoramic garden vistas and who prefer light and airy rooms as the overarching theme.

They are designed to suggest the trend for modern living while looking completely at home in a classic garden setting. Our Simplistic Garden Room is designed in a cube shape, making it cost-effective for smaller Garden Rooms.

A full width non-slip composite deck 1000mm deep, rising 125mm from ground level to a low-threshold door opening is shown with an optional full width non-slip composite deck 1000mm deep. The low-maintenance Wood Composite cladding completes the Garden Room’s substantial, high-quality appearance.

Garden Room in Traditional Style

Classic Style is our top-of-the-line standard model, with a high-end feel and two Garden Room configurations: ‘Classic’ and ‘Panoramic.’ The Classic form has a tiny recessed porch with overhead lamps and a full width decking choice in the front.

The front elevation of the ‘Classic’ format is about half-glazed and half-clad, with LH or RH configurations on French or Sliding Doors. Because there is less glass in this layout, it provides a warmer indoor atmosphere and, as a result, cheaper operating expenses than the Panoramic variants.

The Panoramic design has the same specifications as the standard design, but adds a Bi-Fold door for a complete view of your garden and additional natural light.

Dual-Style Garden Room

Our Dual Style Garden Rooms have an inbuilt storehouse with a very secure UPVC Panelled door – ideal for keeping items such as golf clubs, bicycles, or gardening equipment. We can include this into the design of the main portion of your Garden Room, allowing you to get the most out of your investment.

Bespoke Garden Room Design

Bespoke Style is the ideal answer for an affordable Home Office with storage, a Games Room with an attached bar, or a Home Bar with a Canopy for your hot tub, thanks to its modern twist on the traditional Garden Building. Because of the modular design, a range of alternate configurations may be easily accommodated. We can create your unique Garden Room to be anything you want it to be, including a gym, bar, games area, office, home business, pet grooming, family room with hot tub enclosure, or even a cinema room. Let us know what you need and we’ll create a beautiful design for your Bespoke Garden Room.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF HAVING A GARDEN ROOM?

Garden living is becoming increasingly fashionable and a new trend in home design. The structures come in a variety of sizes, forms, and styles to fit any property. A garden room may benefit you and your family in a variety of ways.

So, if you’re on the fence about whether or not one of our products can make a difference in your life, you’re in luck! We’ve compiled a summary of some of the advantages a garden structure may provide.

ADVANCED LIVING SPACE

The most apparent reason is that more living and recreational space is needed. Finding adequate space for everything and having room for what they want in their house is one of the most difficult issues that homeowners confront. A house extension was formerly one of the most common methods to add living space to your house, but in recent years, garden structures have surpassed it as the most popular method of home remodelling.
Garden structures allow you to construct your own little getaway. By adding additional room to your existing home, you may make changes to it. As a result, it can be a time-consuming and complicated operation. Unless you’re planning a dwelling annexe, our garden rooms don’t normally require planning clearance. Because our annexe structures are for full-time living, they will require planning clearance; nevertheless, our devoted staff will take care of this for you.

What makes them so popular is their adaptability; they can be used for anything and come equipped with all of the facilities that a room in a house would. So, whether you need more space for your burgeoning interest or simply want a place to unwind after a hard day at work, a garden room may accommodate all of your demands.

EFFECTIVE IN TERMS OF COST

Worrying for ageing family and friends may be depressing and cause you to feel anxious all of the time. A garden annexe is one of the greatest methods to keep kids near by. Annexes are a simple and cost-effective year-round living option that eliminates the need for house additions or modifications. Care facilities for the elderly are growing increasingly expensive, and thousands of old individuals cannot afford or refuse to enter one.

Last year, the average cost of a year in a care facility was a whopping £44,512. This is a huge expense that is comparable to the cost of one of our annexe structures. Our annexe structures are a permanent living option that can be placed in your back garden and feature all of the essentials for a fraction of the cost of a care home. Our annexes are constructed to last and come with a 10-year structural guarantee. With a permanent solution, you may keep your loved ones near by at a lower cost and simplify your life with one-level living.

INSTALLATION IS QUICK AND EASY.

The installation procedure for house additions is often long and arduous. Construction might take months after you have planning clearance, leaving you uncomfortable and disturbed in your own home. When you expand your living area into your backyard, however, this is not the case. Our annexes, on the other hand, require a little longer to build and might take anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on size.

This is a faster turn-around time than any other home expansion, and it gives you and your family with a completely new living space. Installation is extremely straightforward, with our site surveyors handling the majority of the work. The crew will come out to your yard to assess the size and kind of building that is most suited for you; you can schedule your free site inspection here!

Garden Room FAQ

Here is a selection of the most common questions that are put to us by potential customers regarding our garden rooms in Glasgow:

Yes, our structures are thoroughly insulated with current U-Values and are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Permitted Development is the general term for it. If you choose a Garden Room or Garden Office that is under 3m in height and is not a listed building or in a special zone, you can put it anywhere in your back or side garden without needing a Planning Application or Building Warrant, as long as it is under 30m2 and does not take up more than 50% of your garden.
We have a few options; one that is new to the market and is proving to be very popular is our jointless PVC Wall Cladding, which comes in a variety of colours and designs ranging from tiled or wood designs to split face slate. It is maintenance free, does not require painting, and provides a stunning finish. We can also supply classic plasterboard and tape for a house-like finish.
Depending on the size and design of the structure, our professional crews require anywhere from 5 to 10 working days.
It may be put on any base; after the foundation is complete and the Garden Room structure is finished, our groundscrews will be level on any surface.

Designed gardens that fit your specifications

Security and maintenance for the garden room

We’ve installed all of our windows and our toughened glass doors with upvc rather than wood frames, which eliminates the need for painting. In addition, increased security is provided by the use of several locking points. We supply 5-lever locks for all of our garden structures.

Foundations
The structure’s base is created using ground screws that are drilled into the earth. This is a fast and straightforward process, which is less harmful to the environment than a concrete foundation. No Excavation, No Concrete, Less Expensive

Insulated Panels
Structural Insulated Panels or SIPs is a state-of-the-art construction technology. It’s effective, cost-efficient, and ecologically beneficial since it’s capable of exceeding increasingly demanding construction rules. The basic foundation of the structure, including the foundation, floor, and roof construction, follows building requirements.

Exterior roof
The most desirable fire-resistant, sturdy, and long-lasting alternative for Garden Rooms is the Flat Roofing Industry-leading Firestone RubberCover EPDM Roofing System.

Outer Walls
The customer had Siberian Larch treated thus most of our Garden Rooms are completed outside. As far as your new Garden Room is concerned, however, you may create a look that is totally your own, using Cedar or Composite Cladding.

Installing our offices in the landscape
With the exception of our larger construction projects, which take on average 5 working days, most of our installations are finished in 5 days or less, so we can help you realise your garden building project with as little disturbance as possible.
